Leaves and Twigs

This miserable thorn in my side called "Work" is keeping me from blogging today.

So instead of a fun little post about the history of me posing as a hoochie mama in photos...

Or a rant about my mother making me get my hair cut short when I was young...

Or the tale of meeting my husband on match.com...

(those are all upcoming, by the way)

I'm just going to post a few recent photos I've taken around the yard:

A hoochie mama, LOL! Looking forward to those upcoming tales.

In the meantime... what lovely photos of the things in your yard! What camera do you use, if I may ask?

I love pictures of nature. Of course, I'm also looking forward to the Hootchie Mama shots, too. Still, there is something calming about being able to peer at images of life. Thanks.

Hi Lizza! These photos were taken with my "little" camera, a Nikon 5700. I usually use a Nikon D200 (my "big boy") but my battery wasn't charged when I wanted to take photos the other day.

Hi Stewart Sternberg! I take a VERY wide range of photos. I started out as a hobbyist taking photos of nature, then got into babies and weddings for profit. Now I'm almost exclusively doing boudoir photos. I'm sure I'll end up blogging about that at some point too ;) Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Michael C! Glad you like them! I'm hoping I'll have time to blog one of my ideas today...
Thanks for the visit :)

I like the second one the best I think.

Hoocie mama photos might have been better though. ;)

Steve - Thanks! I think I like that one the best too.

Oh, they're coming, those hoochie-mama photos. Just you wait...

Yes, number two.

They are all very poetic though.

It takes talent to make a poetic photograph.

well done!
